Dear Anonymous person who put post-its in the girl’s bathroom and lecture halls, you are such an encouragement…made my day. Dear Aaron, I ‘m glad that our biggest fight yet was over a shared froyo creation (sad but true people, we were both quite particular in our toppings choice) Well, it looks like we will be getting individual cups next time…for the sake of our relationship :p Dear snow, I may or may not be super excited to see you right now. I see snow angels in my future. Dear classes, I’m really enjoying you guys this semester, how about you don’t drown me in work though. Dear feet, please don’t blister hate me because I’ve been working out, I’m just being healthy (tmi? sorry…) Dear Sam, well brother, tomorrow you turn 22. Happy birthday broski!

Friday’s Letters: Move In Edition

Hello lovelies! I’m all moved in at school & I’m loving being back. I decided my letters this week would be related to my past couple of days back at Bing.

Dear Dorm Room, I am so happy to have you all organized…I think you’ll be a good home for the year.


Dear Freshmen, Welcome to Binghamton!! I hope your move yesterday wasn’t too stressful.

Dear Agitated Freshmen Parents, I really wish you hadn’t gotten so angry with us Welcome Back Crew members. We were there yesterday to help, not get yelled at because you couldn’t get the carts fast enough.

That being said…Dear Happy Freshmen Parents, I’m so glad there were so many of you yesterday. I love helping you and your kids move in, you made my day very joyful!

Dear Suitemates, thank goodness you’re moving in today…this suite is too big for just me!

Dear Friends, I am so so hyped to see you all this weekend, I’ve missed you.

Dear tea, You were the perfect way to de-stress after 9 hours of moving people in.


Dear God, I am so excited to see what you have planned for this semester. I pray that you introduce a lot of new students to Intervarsity this weekend at University Fest & next week at New Student Outreach events. I can’t wait to connect with more students excited about You!

My Friday will be spent giving freshmen class tours and reconnecting with my friends, I hope your day is just as exciting!!! :)

Dear Pinterest, thank you SOOO much for showing my mom and me this picture…we laughed for five minutes straight. It was necessary. Dear Professor Erickson, why don’t you have my test graded yet?!? :( Dear Sports Jam kiddos, I am so sad that VBS is done tonight…you kids have been a blast! Dear rain, you were very pretty to drive through last night. Nothing shows God’s wonder & power like some crazy thunder! Dear Pappa Bear, I am so glad you’re home from your business trip…I’ve missed you. Dear late-night texting conversations with friends, you always seem to be the most random (and funniest) Thanks for that! Dear Chai tea and berries, you are the best breakfast….mmmmm. So I’ve seen on a few of the blogs I read these posts where they link up with other bloggers, and I’ve decided to give it a whirl! Today I am doing my first “Friday’s Letters” post courtesy of Ashley at Adventures of Newlyweds.

Dear Rain, call me crazy…but I’m so happy you’ve decided to come today. It’s finally cool enough to wear my coral pants. On that note Dear Coral Pants, you are awesome: bright, fun, and comfy. Dear Pennsylvania, you are looking at your newest registered voter. Boom, I’m a big kid now! Dear Professor Erickson, I know that calc test was only last night, but I would really love to know my grade. K thanks. Dear #Shereadstruth, thanks for continually challenging me through your devotionals…I need it. Dear Bump App, you may be the coolest thing since sliced bread. Dear Blog Ladies, oh how I love your posts! Dear Kitties, I’m so glad you cuddled with me today while I read my book. And finally, Dear Nail Polish, I love you so much, why must it be so hard to choose which color to use?!?!
